'Teen Mom 2' star Briana DeJesus, Javi Marroquin split

Jan. 17 (UPI) -- Teen Mom 2 star Briana DeJesus and Javi Marroquin have called it quits.

The 23-year-old television personality announced her split from Marroquin in an Instagram post Tuesday, writing, "We have broken up."

DeJesus explained in a statement to Blasting News that her future with Marroquin "doesn't line up." She said they disagreed over her forthcoming plastic surgeries and their living situation.

"He doesn't want me to get my surgery for a breast lift, lipo and tummy tuck (which I'm doing in two weeks) because it'll look bad on his name at work. Also, I don't plan on moving in with him in the summer and for these reasons, he broke up with me," the star said.

"I have no bad things to say about him. He wanted a wife and home right now and I didn't see a reason to rush," she added. "I wish him the best going forward, and I am sad things panned out this way, but this is where things currently stand."

DeJesus and Marroquin started dating in October after DeJesus joined Teen Mom 2. Marroquin's ex-wife, Teen Mom 2 star Kailyn Lowry, addressed the couple's split in a statement Tuesday to Us Weekly.

"It's none of my business, so my mouth is closed. I wish Javi the best, as always," the 25-year-old reality star, who shares 4-year-old son Lincoln with Marroquin, said.

DeJesus is mom to two daughters, 6-year-old Nova and 6-month-old Stella.
