Jan. 12 (UPI) -- Tia Mowry is "so excited" to be expecting a baby girl.
The 39-year-old actress announced she's pregnant with a daughter in a "gender reveal" video Friday on her Quick Fix vlog. Mowry is expecting with her husband, actor Cory Hardrict.
The Sister, Sister alum demonstrated how to make "gender reveal" cupcakes and other desserts before sharing her own baby news. She bit into a cake pop filled with pink cake to show she's expecting a daughter.
"We're having a girl! Cree is going to have a baby sister," the star said, referencing her 6-year-old son. "We are so excited."
Mowry and Hardrict married in April 2008 and welcomed Cree in June 2011. The actress announced her second pregnancy by posting a baby bump photo in November.
"Yayyyyy! Couldn't wait to tell the world. I'm going to be an auntie!!!!!" her twin sister and Sister, Sister co-star, Tamera Mowry, responded on Twitter at the time.
Mowry played Tia Landry on Sister, Sister, and has since starred on The Game and Instant Mom. She presently hosts Tia Mowry at Home on the Cooking Channel.
