Dec. 22 (UPI) -- This is Us star Alexandra Breckenridge gave birth to a daughter this month. The 35-year-old actress' rep confirmed Thursday to Entertainment Tonight that Breckenridge welcomed her second child, Billie, with husband Casey Neil Hooper on Dec. 6.

Breckenridge and Hooper, a guitarist for Katy Perry, already share 15-month-old son Jack. Breckenridge said in a statement to People she's thrilled to have both a son and a daughter.
"We are so excited to have a boy and a girl!" the star told the magazine.
"Billie is such a sweet baby girl and Jack is such a social boy, with them only being 15 months apart they will always have a friend to play with," she added.
Breckenridge announced in August that she was expecting her second child. She opened up about the challenges of motherhood in the December issue of Pregnancy and Newborn magazine.
"If it weren't for my husband, I just wouldn't make it," the actress confessed. "Motherhood is the most amazing part of life you can experience and the hardest thing in the world at the same time."
Breckenridge plays Sophie on This is Us, which will return from midseason break Jan. 9 on NBC. Her co-star Mandy Moore, who got engaged to Taylor Goldsmith in September, said in a new interview that she hopes to have kids "sooner than later."
