Dec. 22 (UPI) -- Saturday Night Live has released online a segment that was cut for time on the episode James Franco recently guest hosted.

Most of the pre-recorded video is a trailer for a faux Hallmark Channel holiday movie called Yes, Santa!

The clip shows Kate McKinnon as a city girl heading home to run her grandmother's Christmas tree farm where she reconnects with her erstwhile, high-school boyfriend, played by Franco, who also happens to be Young Santa.

The video also previews some of the other films on the network's "quantity over quality" programming slate, including Prince Santa -- also featuring Franco -- and Kitchen Christmas Wish, about a woman trapped in a snowglobe.
