Dec. 18 (UPI) -- Drew Barrymore and Timothy Olyphant helped a fan propose to his girlfriend of six years.

The 42-year-old actress and 49-year-old actor, who play Sheila and Joel Hammond on Santa Clarita Diet, helped Netflix-loving couple Conor and Kamela get engaged.

Conor, who watched Netflix with Kamela on their first date in college, told his bride-to-be she would be appearing on a reality show similar to Bravo's The People's Couch. The couple sat down on a set, where Conor played the video Keeping Love Alive.

Keeping Love Alive opened with Barrymore and Olyphant sharing marriage advice as their Santa Clarita Diet characters. Conor surprised Kamela by joining the pair in the video and then proposing in real life.

"Shut the [expletive] up! Are you serious? Are you kidding me?" Kamela responded before shedding happy tears and saying yes.

Barrymore and Olyphant will return in Season 2 of Santa Clarita Diet in 2018. The actress said in an interview with PopSugar published in May that she's "so excited" for the new season.

"[Series creator] Victor [Fresco] took me through the whole second season, because I produce the show," she shared. "I get to be privileged to know what I'm going into, which really helps, because TV is so mysterious."

"This man comes up with all this crazy [expletive] that I'm totally into," the star added. "There's such humanity and normal themes behind it that I can relate to."
