Dec. 15 (UPI) -- The IT Crowd creator Graham Linehan says he is working with NBC on a U.S. version of the British workplace comedy.
Linehan told Deadline.com he will write and executive produce the series.

The original show starred Chris O'Dowd, Richard Ayoade, Katherine Parkinson and Matt Berry. It ran for four seasons 2006-10 and is now streaming on Netflix. No casting has been announced for the U.S. show yet.
Variety said this is NBC's third attempt to adapt the series, but the first Linehan will write.
