The 70th Primetime Emmy Awards set for Sept. 17

Dec. 12 (UPI) -- The 70th Primetime Emmy Awards ceremony is slated to take place Sept. 17.

NBC will air the gala, which honors excellence in television, live from the Microsoft Theater at L.A. Live in Los Angeles.

No host has been announced yet. This year's emcee was Stephen Colbert.
