Dec. 11 (UPI) -- Sarah Hyland and Wells Adams reached a new milestone by buying their first Christmas tree together as a couple. The 27-year-old Modern Family star and 33-year-old Bachelorette alum were all smiles Saturday as they picked out a tree at an outdoor lot.

Hyland shared a photo on Instagram of herself and Adams posing in front of several trees. The actress kept it casual in a hooded coat, scarf and glasses, while Adams wore a black leather jacket.
"First Christmas tree with this one," she captioned the picture, adding Christmas tree and heart emojis.
Adams later shared videos on Instagram Stories of himself and Hyland decorating their tree at home with Elf playing in the background. The couple chose food-themed ornaments, including a waffle, cheeseburger and chili peppers.
"Watching a giant Elf on TV while a real Elf decorates a [tree]," Adams wrote.
Hyland and Adams were first linked in October after celebrating Halloween together. Sources told Us Weekly in November that the couple's relationship has become "more serious" as of late.
"They have been dating for a while now," an insider said. "It is getting more serious as time passes. They really like each other."
