Dec. 6 (UPI) -- Laverne Cox has been selected to host Lifetime's upcoming reality competition series Glam Masters from executive producer Kim Kardashian. Cox will also serve as a judge on the eight-episode series that will feature four beauty bloggers facing off every episode to prove that they have what it takes to become the next big name in the beauty world.

The winner from each week will advance to the Tournament of Masters finale to determine who is the Glam Master.
The Orange Is the New Black alum will be joined by three other judges, including celebrity makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic, YouTube makeup expert Kandee Johnson and co-founder of Milk Makeup and Marie Claire Senior Fashion Editor Zanna Roberts Rassi.

A trailer for Glam Masters was released Tuesday that features colorful makeup being used on a model.
Glam Masters will premiere Feb. 28 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on Lifetime. Kardashian serves as an executive producer alongside Diana Madison.
