Kathie Lee Gifford and Dean Cain to host the National Christmas Tree Lighting

Nov. 21 (UPI) -- Television personality Kathie Lee Gifford and actor Dean Cain are to host the 2017 National Christmas Tree Lighting Nov. 30 at President's Park near the White House.

A taping of the 95th edition of the event is to air on Hallmark Channel Dec. 4.

Set to perform are Jack Wagner, The Beach Boys, Wynonna, The Texas Tenors, Craig Campbell, Us The Duo, Boys II Bow Ties, Mannheim Steamroller, and the U.S. Navy Band led by music director Steve Gibson.

Additional special guests will be announced in the coming week, organizers said Tuesday.

The 19-1/2-foot Balsam fir from Wisconsin was delivered to the White House Monday. First lady Melania Trump and Barron -- her son with President Donald Trump -- were on hand to accept it.
