Oct. 31 (UPI) -- Raw commissioner Stephanie McMahon returned to Raw Monday to confront general manager Kurt Angle about Smackdown's previous invasion of the red brand.

McMahon who was last seen helping her father Vince McMahon after he was attacked by Kevin Owens in September, first congratulated Angle on running Monday Night Raw before laying into the Olympic gold medalist about letting Smackdown take Raw under siege ahead of Survivor Series.

McMahon then declared that Angle himself would be the team captain of Raw's mens team heading into Survivor Series and that if he loses, he will be fired from his position as general manager.

Survivor Series, which features Raw and Smackdown battling for brand supremacy, will mark the second return match for Angle after being absent from a WWE ring in 11 years.

Following his verbal lashing from McMahon, Angle was later joined in his office by Smackdown general manager Daniel Bryan. The Total Bellas star who disagreed with Smackdown commissioner Shane McMahon's idea to invade Raw, attempted to apologize to Angle and extend an olive branch.

Angle, who wasn't receptive to the apology, then allowed Bryan to stay inside his office in order to avoid Raw Superstars who might want to hurt him. After being left alone, Bryan was attacked by Kane who was seen delivering a Chokeslam to the general manager. Bryan was then seen being loaded into an ambulance on a stretcher.

Raw also included a number of returns including Samoa Joe who was last seen during SummerSlam taking on a defeating Apollo Crews and Braun Strowman who was last seen being sent into a garbage truck by his own teammates at TLC.

Strowman, who was ordered into the garbage truck by The Miz, returned as Raw was going off the air to attack The A-lister while he was attempting to leave the arena. The Monster Among Men made his presence known as he stopped The Miz's car with a garbage truck that he emerged from.

Strowman then met The Miz and his Miztourage consisting of Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel, inside the arena were he repeatedly tossed and slammed the trio near the entrance way.
