Wes Ramsey heading to 'General Hospital'

Oct. 28 (UPI) -- Wes Ramsey -- who is known for his work on TV's Days of Our Lives, Guiding Light, Charmed and Venice -- is heading to General Hospital.

"Port Charles!!! Let's do this," the 40-year-old actor tweeted this week, referring to the fictional New York setting of General Hospital. He also linked to a Soap Opera Digest article reporting his casting.

The story said the boyfriend of longtime GH cast member Laura Wright will play a character named Peter August on the soap opera, starting Nov. 14. No details about August were immediately released.
