Oct. 27 (UPI) -- Hulu has released the first trailer for their upcoming Marvel series, the superhero teen drama Runaways. The clip, released Thursday, features a group of teenagers played by Virginia Gardner, Allegra Acosta, Gregg Sulkin, Ariela Barer, Rhenzy Feliz and Lyrica Okano who band together after they find out that their parents are a part of an evil organization.

"None of our parents are who we thought," Okano says after the group witnesses their parents take part in a dark ceremony that used a sacrifice.
The teens then strike out on their own and begin to discover that they have superpowers.
"Every teenager thinks their parents are evil, what if they actually are?" reads the synopsis.
Runaways, from based on the award-winning comic of the same name by Brian K. Vaughan and Adrian Alphona, comes from Gossip Girl creators Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage.
The series is set to arrive on Hulu starting Nov. 21.
