Oct. 18 (UPI) -- Justin Timberlake, Anna Kendrick and Zooey Deschanel -- who lent their voices to characters in the 2016 movie Trolls -- will reprise their roles for an animated television special.

DreamWorks Trolls Holiday, a half-hour program, is scheduled to debut Nov. 24 on NBC. It will be available for streaming Dec. 6 on Netflix.

"The toe-tapping musical special centers on the eternally optimistic Poppy, queen of the Trolls, who learns that the Bergens no longer have any holidays on their calendar. She enlists the help of Branch and the Snack Pack on a mission to fix something that the Bergens don't think is broken," a network press release said.

A Trolls big-screen sequel for 2020 was announced in March.
