Oct. 17 (UPI) -- Filming is underway on the Kardashian-Jenners' upcoming Christmas special with retired Olympic figure skater Nancy Kerrigan.
Kim Kardashian, 36, and mom Kris Jenner, 61, teased the special Monday on Twitter after their family spent the day ice skating with Kerrigan for a holiday episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
"We just started filming our KUWTK Christmas Special! Can't wait for you guys to see this & see what our holiday prep is like!" Kim wrote to her 56.2 million Twitter followers.
Kris also shared her excitement and a photo of herself with Nancy, Kim and her daughter, North West, Kourtney Kardashian and her daughter, Penelope Disick, Khloe Kardashian and Kendall Jenner. Kris' children Rob Kardashian and Kylie Jenner were missing from the picture.
"Oh no big deal...just Ice Skating with @nancyakerrigan in Calabasas in 95 degree heat for our Christmas Special!!!! #nancykerrigan," the mom-of-six tweeted.
People reported Kylie was present but didn't ice skate with the group. The 20-year-old reality star and Khloe are both reportedly expecting with their respective boyfriends, Travis Scott and Tristan Thompson.
"Kylie was there, but didn't ice skate. She kept in the background, but seemed great," a source said. "Khloe took it easy as well. It was a scheduled taping."
The Kardashian-Jenners have yet to announce an air date for the Christmas special. Keeping Up with the Kardashians is in its 14th season, and airs Sundays on E!.
