Oct. 8 (UPI) -- Hulu screened a first-look teaser for its upcoming series Castle Rock at New York Comic Con Sunday.

Starring André Holland, Melanie Lynskey, Sissy Spacek, Bill Skarsgård, Jane Levy and Scott Glenn, the show is billed as a "psychological-horror series set in the Stephen King multiverse." The brief trailer featured most of the actors as their characters, but did not offer clues about how they relate to each other or details about the story in which they might play a part.

Sam Shaw and Dustin Thomason developed the project for television and serve as executive producers, along with J.J. Abrams, Ben Stephenson and Liz Glotzer.

The series' title refers to the fictional Maine town where many of King's stories take place.
