Oct. 5 (UPI) -- Starz says its 10-episode, third season of the horror comedy Ash vs. Evil Dead is scheduled to debut Feb. 25.

The show will once again star Bruce Campbell as demon hunter Ash Williams, Lucy Lawless as his supernatural foe, and Ray Santiago and Dana DeLorenzo as his human sidekicks, Pablo and Kelly.

Newcomer Arielle Carver-O'Neill will play Ash's "long lost daughter" Brandy, the cable network announced Thursday.

"The third season finds Ash's status in Elk Grove, Mich., has changed from murderous urban legend to humanity-saving hometown hero," a press release noted. "When Kelly witnesses a televised massacre with Ruby's fingerprints all over it, she returns with a new friend to warn Ash and Pablo that evil isn't done with them yet. Blood is thicker than water in the battle of good vs. Evil Dead!"

The cast is expected to speak with fans and reporters at New York Comic Con this weekend.
