Sanaa Lathan lands role in Season 4 of 'The Affair'

Sept. 25 (UPI) -- Sanaa Lathan has booked a recurring role on Season 4 of The Affair, which will start up again in 2018.

Showtime said in a press release the American Assassin and Shots Fired actress will play Jenelle, "the tough-as-nails principal of the charter school where Noah teaches."

Starring Dominic West, Ruth Wilson, Maura Tierney and Joshua Jackson, the series "explores the emotional and psychological effects of an affair that destroyed two marriages, and the crime that brings these individuals back together."

Writer/producer Sarah Treem and Hagai Levi created the drama. Treem is also the showrunner and serves with Levi as an executive producer.
