TVLine noted that a new ABC promo for Burton's return to the daytime drama seems to suggest the actor will once again play Jason Morgan, a character who is now portrayed by Billy Miller.

The 15-second clip features Burton in dark clothes and riding a motorcycle with the song "Hold On, I'm Coming" playing in the background.

Burton played Jason on GH from 1991 to 2012. After he left, he played Dylan McAvoy on The Young and the Restless 2013-17. Miller has been playing Jason on GH since 2014.
