Sept. 7 (UPI) -- Amanda Stanton is no longer dating Bachelor in Paradise co-star Robby Hayes.

The 27-year-old reality star confirmed Wednesday at a Bachelor charity dinner that she called it quits with Hayes following Bachelor in Paradise Season 4.

"Robby and I are not together," she told Us Weekly at the event. "I'm not really sure how Robby's handled the situation."

Stanton said in an interview with E! News that she felt she put more effort into the relationship than Hayes. She hopes to remain friends with the 28-year-old model despite their split.

"I'm totally open to being friends with him. I don't have any hard feelings toward him," the star said. "I think a lot of girls can relate to putting all your effort into somebody and maybe them not doing the same and kind of feeling like you wasted your time."

"I'm just at this point in my life where I'm like, it's OK," she added. "I don't want any awkward tension between anybody. So I hope we can be friends."

Stanton competed on The Bachelor Season 20 before appearing on Bachelor in Paradise Season 3. She met Hayes in Season 4 after ending her engagement to her Season 3 co-star Josh Murray.

"Never say never, but probably not," the star said of her future with the Bachelor franchise. "I've done the show three times. I definitely had my fair chance of trying to find love within the franchise, and it hasn't worked out for me yet."
