Netflix renews 'Friends from College' for a second season

Aug. 24 (UPI) -- Netflix says it has ordered an eight-episode, second season of Friends from College, starring Keegan-Michael Key, Cobie Smulders, Annie Parisse, Nat Faxon, Fred Savage and Jae Suh Park.

The show about former Harvard classmates who are now in their 40s was co-created by Nicholas Stoller and Francesca Delbanco, who also serve as executive producers. Stoller directs the series and Delbanco serves as a writer.

"With interwoven and oftentimes complicated relationships with one another, Friends From College is a comedic exploration of old friendships, former romantic entanglements and balancing adult life with nostalgia for the past," a synopsis said.
