July 20 (UPI) -- Parenthood stars Sam Jaeger and Erika Christensen took a stroll down memory lane this week.
The 40-year-old actor and 34-year-old actress, who played Joel Graham and Julia Braverman-Graham on the NBC series, reminisced Tuesday after Jaeger stopped by the show's set.
"What, you didn't want to cry today? Sorry. Just got this text from @samjaeger .. #parenthood #joelia," Christensen captioned a video Jaeger sent her from the house.
Jaeger said in the clip that he visited the set during a trip to the Universal Studios Lot. He confessed it was weird to see the house stripped of nearly all of its props.
"What?! It's empty. But you know what? I can feel the love," the actor told Christensen. "I hope you're doing well. I'm just tooling around Universal today and I thought I'd come up to the old house. I love you!"
Jaeger and Christensen portrayed Joel and Julia throughout Parenthood's six-season run from 2010 to 2015. The series was created by Jason Katims, and co-starred Peter Krause, Lauren Graham, Dax Shepard and Monica Potter.
"I was thinking [a revival] might happen [with Parenthood] down the road a few years," Katims said in an interview with TVLine in August.
"It would start at the moment when I feel like I have a story to tell," he added. "But the whole thing about Parenthood is the kids get a little older and their lives change and then there's more story to tell. I feel like that will happen at some point."
Jaeger has since starred in the miniseries When We Rise, and will appear on the Law & Order spinoff True Crime. Christensen will star on the new drama Ten Days in the Valley with Kyra Sedgwick.
