July 18 (UPI) -- Peta Murgatroyd holds son Shai close in a new photo from her wedding. The 31-year-old Australian dancer posted a picture with the 7-month-old from her nuptials to Maksim Chmerkovskiy while celebrating her 31st birthday Friday.

"M Y L I G H T my eternal love," she captioned the snapshot. "Shai Aleksander Chmerkovskiy, on my birthday there is nothing more that I want than to be with you."
Murgatroyd married Chmerkovksiy at Oheka Castle in Huntington, N.Y., on July 8. The newlyweds couldn't help but gush about each other and their wedding in subsequent posts last week.
"07~08~2017 was the most magical day of my life," Murgatroyd wrote July 12. "I married my soul mate, my perfect man, the only man I could see myself growing old with. I will love you until the end @maksimc #mrschmerkovskiy #myhusband."
"My love @petamurgatroyd ..... I've been waiting for this day my whole life," Chmerkovskiy added the same day. "Some moments are a blur because I couldn't stop thinking how incredible you looked. My heart is overwhelmed with love, my soul is elated and my life is finally complete... I truly am the luckiest person ever."
Murgatroyd and Chmerkovskiy met as pros on Dancing with the Stars Season 13, and got engaged in December 2015. The couple welcomed Shai in January.
