June 29 (UPI) -- Cory Hardrict has signed on to co-star in The Oath, a new crime drama for Crackle, produced by rapper Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson.

Created and written by former Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Deputy Joe Halpin, the 10-part series will also star Sean Bean and Ryan Kwanten. It is scheduled to debut in 2018.

The show "explores a world of gangs made up of those sworn to protect and defend and sheds light on corrupt and secret societies that are nearly impossible to join -- only a select few make the cut -- but once inside, members will do what they must to protect each other from enemies on the outside and from within their own ranks," a synopsis said.
