June 28 (UPI) -- Carmella earned the Money in the Bank briefcase a second time Tuesday on Smackdown Live after a grueling match with Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, Natalya and Tamina.

Smackdown general manager Daniel Bryan made the rematch after Carmella's side piece, James Ellsworth, interfered in the original Money in the Bank match last week. Tuesday's match featured even more close calls and broken bodies as the competitors battled for a guaranteed championship opportunity.

Despite being banned from the arena by Bryan earlier in the night, Ellsworth was still able to insert himself into the match and nearly grabbed the briefcase once again for The Princess of Staten Island before Lynch stopped him.

After throwing Ellsworth off the ladder, Lynch seem poised to win the match before Carmella assaulted The Irish Lass Kicker by injuring her leg and then attacking her with a steel chair. With a clear path to the top, Carmella then obtained the briefcase for a second time to officially become the first-ever Ms. Money in the Bank.

Carmella can now challenge Smackdown Women's Champion Naomi at any time.

Also on Smackdown Live, Randy Orton still looking for revenge on WWE Champion Jinder Mahal, decided to hijack the show and sat in the middle of the ring until he was granted a rematch against The Modern-Day Maharaja for the title.

Smackdown Live commissioner Shane McMahon intervened and granted The Viper his wish, though McMahon stated that it would be Mahal who would get to choose the stipulation for their upcoming rematch.

Mahal then announced that for the first time in 10 years, the competitors would meet inside a PunJabi Prison Match at Battleground on July 23.

Other highlights from Smackdown Live included Smackdown Tag Team Champions The Usos defeating The Hype Bros; Smackdown Women's Champion Naomi defeating Lana, and Mr. Money in the Bank Baron Corbin defeating Sami Zayn.
