June 21 (UPI) -- Smackdown general manager Daniel Bryan returned to WWE's blue-brand Tuesday in order to address Carmella's controversial Money in the Bank win from Sunday.

Bryan assembled the participants from the first-ever women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match including Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, Natalya Tamina and its winner Carmella alongside her side-piece James Ellsworth, in order to vent his frustration over how The Princess of Staten Island had won a championship opportunity that can be cashed in at anytime.

On Sunday, Carmella had obtained the Money in the Bank contract after Ellsworth himself climbed the ladder and unhooked the briefcase before tossing it down to Carmella for the win. Amid questions about how a man ruined an important match in the women's division, Bryan did lament that the match does feature no rules and no disqualification.

Despite that and after arguing with Ellsworth, who he threatened to knock out after his newborn child with Brie Bella was brought up, Bryan stripped Carmella of her Money in the Bank briefcase and announced that a rematch would be held next week on Smackdown.

A fight then broke out between the participants that ended with Flair and Lynch teaming up on Carmella who was left crying in the middle of the ring.

Also on Smackdown, Randy Orton, fresh from his defeat by WWE Champion Jinder Mahal, promised that his issues with The Modern Day Maharaja were far from over and that now things had gotten personal after the champ's goon-squad The Singh Brothers had harassed his father, Hall of Famer Cowboy Bob Orton during their championship match from Sunday.

Orton would extract his revenge on Mahal after the WWE Champion won a match over Luke Harper by using The Khallas following a distraction from The Singh Brothers. The bout also featured Baron Corbin teasing that he would be cashing in his Money in the Bank briefcase for an impromptu championship match.

The Viper rushed to the ring as Mahal celebrated and quickly took the fight to his rival. Before an RKO could be delivered, however, The Singh Brothers intervened allowing Mahal to escape into the crowd. The two brothers were then given RKOs of their own for their efforts.
