June 12 (UPI) -- Production on the upcoming fourth season of Bachelor in Paradise has been suspended due to "allegations of misconduct," Warner Bros. Television has announced.

"We have suspended production and we are conducting a thorough investigation of these allegations. Once the investigation is complete, we will take appropriate responsive action."

Bachelor in Paradise Season 4 is slated to premiere on ABC on Aug. 8 and feature past contestants from The Bachelor and The Bachelorette including Corinne Olympios, Raven Gates, Taylor Nolan, Amanda Stanton, Robby Hayes and DeMario Jackson among others.

Sources close to Jackson say that production has been halted due to himself and Olympios taking part in sexual acts in a swimming pool, TMZ reported.

Jackson is said to have gotten close to Olympios after meeting at a bar and hooking up with her in the pool, but not having intercourse.

A source speaking with E! News said that the show has been suspended "indefinitely" and that many of the contestants have been sent home. The situation was described as serious and Season 4 of the reality series may be done for good.
