June 6 (UPI) -- Hoda Kotb shared her hopes for daughter Haley Joy on Today.

The 52-year-old television personality read an open letter on the show Tuesday, encouraging her infant daughter to follow her heart and feel comfortable in her own skin.

Kotb's Today co-hosts Savannah Guthrie and Jenna Bush Hager read similar messages aloud for their own daughters. The trio of moms penned the posts as part of the show's "Love Your Body Week."

"Your heart: Listen to it, follow it and figure out what and who makes it beat faster," Kotb said in her letter, which she shared on the Today website last week. "Your skin: Strive to be comfortable in it your whole life. Your back: I've got it; always."

Kotb adopted Haley Joy in February, and is raising the infant with boyfriend Joel Schiffman. She and Schiffman went public with their relationship in 2015, and celebrated their fourth anniversary as a couple Monday.

"Haley will call him dad," the star said in an interview with People in March. "He's such a great dad and a great influence."

Guthrie and husband Michael Feldman have a 2-year-old daughter named Vale and Hager is mother to 4-year-old Mila and 21-month-old Poppy with husband Henry Chase Hager. Guthrie encouraged Vale to embrace her body in her letter.

"I want you to love your body, not because of how thin or tall or pretty you may grow up to be, but because it is truly a miracle," she said. "When you think about your body, let's think not about how it looks, but about all the things it can do."
