June 5 (UPI) -- Hoda Kotb says life with her boyfriend is "getting better every day."
The 52-year-old Today anchor celebrated her four-year anniversary with Joel Schiffman on Monday by sharing a family photo with Schiffman and daughter Haley Joy.
"4 years together and getting better every day," she captioned the picture on Instagram.
Kotb followed up by posting a quote made famous by Dr. Seuss. The quote originates from the Robert Fulghum book True Love.
"We are all a little weird and, life's a little weird, and when we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours, we join up with them and fall in mutual weirdness and call it love," the post reads.
Kotb later confessed on Today that she initially forgot her anniversary. She and Schiffman were enjoying a romantic weekend when she realized she had overlooked the date.
"The sun was setting and we had a toast. I just looked out and I said, 'You know what? Sometimes it's the small things in life,'" she told co-host Kathie Lee Gifford. "Then he made a great dinner and he said, 'Happy anniversary.' And I go, 'What?'"
Kotb and Schiffman went public with their relationship in January 2015, and moved in together in late 2016. The television personality adopted daughter Haley Joy in February, and later confirmed she and Schiffman will raise the child as a couple.
