May 18 (UPI) -- Netflix says it plans to air 10 episodes of The Jim Henson Company's The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance series.

To be shot in the United Kingdom, the program is a prequel to the 1982 fantasy movie The Dark Crystal. It will feature characters created by Jim Henson's Creature Shop and Brian Froud, the original film's conceptual designer.
