May 9 (UPI) -- The rivalry between Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman continued to heat up Monday on Raw as the red brand aired live from the O2 arena in London.
Still injured from Strowman's backstage assault weeks ago, and from their hard-hitting match at Payback, Reigns confronted The Monster Among Men wearing bandages as Strowman battled Kalisto with only one good arm.
The match quickly turned into a brawl with Reigns unleashing a flurry of Superman Punches before he focused on Strowman's injured shoulder by ramming it into the outside ring post. The assault was too much for Strowman who quickly retreated into the crowd.
Strowman's match against Kalisto had been made earlier in the night by acting co-general manager, Intercontinental Champion Dean Ambrose, who was forced to share his general manager duties with the No. 1 contender for his title, The Miz.
The competitive bout featured Wyatt gaining an advantage once The Miz stepped down from commentary to hit Ambrose in the back with the Intercontinental title which then led to the Eater of Worlds landing Sister Abigail for the three count.
The Miz then taunted Ambrose in the ring and promised that he would capture the Intercontinental Championship next week on Raw.
Also on Raw, Women's Champion Alexa Bliss defeated Mickie James, Cesaro and Sheamus won a Tag Team Turmoil match to become the No. 1 contenders for the Raw Tag Team Championships, Seth Rollins defeated Samoa Joe via disqualification, TJP defeated Gentleman Jack Gallagher and Sasha Banks defeated Alicia Fox.
