May 5 (UPI) -- Riverdale star Lili Reinhart had a snappy response to a body shamer this week.

The 20-year-old actress, who plays Betty Cooper on The CW series, shot back after a fan said she doesn't want Reinhart's talent "to be overshadowed" by her weight.

"Thank you so much for being concerned about my weight, I'll respond later after I finish my double cheeseburger," she tweeted in response.

Reinhart followed up by addressing the incident in a Snapchat video.

"So today I was basically fat-shamed on Twitter. My response is basically, don't let anyone tell you what you can and cannot eat," she said in the expletive-laden clip. "I love my Taco Bell."

Reinhart had said in a joint interview with co-star Camila Mendes for Cosmopolitan in April that she isn't concerned with her celebrity image. She instead is focused on being herself and accessible to fans.

"I never had to do anything specific to craft my 'image,'" the star said. "I wanted people to know that I was a goofball, that I didn't take myself too seriously, and that I love what I do."

"On my Twitter and Instagram, whenever I can, I try and show myself. I'm not trying to be an Instagram model," she added.

Riverdale co-stars Mendes, KJ Apa and Cole Sprouse, and airs Thursdays on The CW.
