April 18 (UPI) -- Simone Biles dazzled on Dancing with the Stars after a "rough" week in rehearsals.

The 20-year-old Olympic gymnast said partner Sasha Farber pushed her to her limits before performing a contemporary dance Monday to "How Far I'll Go" from the Disney movie Moana.

"Sometimes I feel overwhelmed with Sasha pushing me," Biles said in a video on the show, prior to her performance. "I've just been so shut off and I don't really voice my opinion very well."

"Every since the Olympics, I haven't had a break," she told Farber in the clip. "[I don't ask for one] because I'm scared. Sometimes I feel like in practice, you get super excited and I just like -- slow down."

Biles and Farber ultimately earned a 38 out of 40 -- the second-highest score of the competition thus far -- with their dance for Disney week. The pair channeled Moana as Auli'i Cravalho, the star of the film, performed their song live.

"Practice was a little rough this week," Biles told People after her dance. "It's been a rough week -- just tiring -- but we pushed through."

"This was the hump that we had to get over," she added. "Everyone was a little tired but then you're motivated again once we get over the hump, which we did. Hallelujah."

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Erika Jayne earned a 32 with her Viennese waltz to "Unforgettable" from Finding Dory, but was eliminated from the competition.

Dancing with the Stars airs Mondays on ABC.
