Report: Sharna Burgess of 'DWTS' dating Pierson Fode

April 14 (UPI) -- Dancing with the Stars pro Sharna Burgess is reportedly dating Pierson Fodé.

The 31-year-old Australian dancer is seeing Fodé, a 25-year-old actor who stars on The Bold and the Beautiful, not Season 24 partner Bonner Bolton, according to E! News.

"[Sharna and Bonner] just play it up for the show," a source said. "Sharna and Pierson are together."

"She took him to that James Hinchcliffe race ... [they] were acting affectionate like a couple there," the insider added. "She was at Pierson's birthday party last week. He even visited her while she was on the road during the DWTS tour months ago."

Burgess and Fodé both posted on Instagram last week about attending James Hinchcliffe's race at the Toyota Grand Prix in Long Beach. The pair were flirtatious during a Twitter exchange in February.

"Well we all know @SharnaBurgess is gorgeous buuuuut I'm probably the better dancer .... I'd be willing to teach her a thing or two," Fodé tweeted Feb. 16.

"Awww sweetness will get you nowhere @PiersonFode ... I'd like to see you try #weneedadanceoff I'm ready for ya with my best moves yet," Burgess wrote in response.

Burgess and Bolton scored a 32 out of 40 with their foxtrot to "Feeling Good" on this week's episode of Dancing with the Stars. The dancer dismissed rumors of a romance with the 29-year-old bull rider in an interview with E! News in March.

"It's all a part of playing the character, for sure," she admitted of their chemistry on the dance floor. "You've got to practice your acting skills."
