March 24 (UPI) -- Saturday Night Live veteran Bobby Moynihan is to lend his voice to Happy the Horse in a pilot for Syfy.
Moynihan's animated character in the Universal Cable Productions project is described as "a goofy, little, blue unicorn with a relentlessly cheerful personality."
The comedian will join the possible series' previously announced vocal ensemble of Chris Meloni, Lili Mirojnick, Patrick Fischler, Ritchie Coster and Zabryna Guevara.
Moynihan, 40, is currently shooting a single-camera comedy pilot called Me, Myself & I, as well. He also voices the role of Panda on the animated series We Bare Bears, Louie on Ducktales and Hal on Nature Cat.
