Ewan McGregor plays two characters in 'Fargo' Season 3 trailer

March 23 (UPI) -- Ewan McGregor portrays two brothers in the first trailer for Season 3 of FX"s crime anthology series, Fargo.

The clip, released Wednesday, highlights the show's new cast which also includes Carrie Coon, Michael Stuhlbarg, Mary Elizabeth Winstead and David Thewlis.

"From Creator Noah Hawley, the new installment of Fargo is an all-new 'true crime' tale starring Ewan McGregor in dual roles as Emmit Stussy and his slightly younger brother Ray," reads the synopsis.

"Their sibling rivalry leads to a twisted path that begins with petty theft but soon leads to murder, mobsters and cutthroat competitive bridge," it continues.

Fargo Season 3 is set to premiere on FX April 19.
