Ashley Judd, Keke Palmer join Season 2 cast of 'Berlin Station'

March 21 (UPI) -- Ashley Judd and Keke Palmer are to co-star with Richard Armitage in Season 2 of the spy drama Berlin Station, EPIX announced Tuesday.

Production is scheduled to resume in the German city on March 31 and fresh episodes are expected to start airing on the cable network later this year.

"We are thrilled to welcome the incredibly talented Ashley Judd to the cast of Berlin Station," Mark Greenberg, president and chief executive officer of EPIX, said in a statement. "With its illustrious auspices among both cast and producers – and subject matter that is more timely than ever -- Berlin Station brings the kind of high-quality, compelling storytelling for which EPIX is known. We couldn't be more excited to embark on a new season."

"We are excited to have Ashley and Keke on board and are eager to begin the second season of this critically acclaimed show in the intriguing city of Berlin with our outstanding partners at EPIX," added Amy Powell, president of Paramount TV.

Judd's credits include the Divergent franchise, as well as Along Came a Spider, The Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood and Someone Like You. Palmer starred in the TV series Scream Queens and True Jackson.
