NBC announces debut dates for summer shows

March 19 (UPI) -- NBC has announced the debut dates for its summer series World of Dance, America's Got Talent and SNL: Weekend Update.

World of Dance -- a competition series with judges Jennifer Lopez, Derek Hough, NE-YO and host Jenna Dewan Tatum -- is to premiere May 8.

America's Got Talent is to return on May 30, while American Ninja Warrior will be back June 12 and Little Big Shots: Forever Young will start up again on June 21.

Midnight, Texas, a thriller based on the books by Charlaine Harris and starring Jason Lewis and Sarah Ramos, will kick off July 25, and the prime-time version of Saturday Night Live: Weekend Update with Colin Jost and Michael Che will start Aug. 10.

Marlon, a family comedy loosely inspired by the real life of star Marlon Wayans, is to begin Aug. 16.
