Susan Sarandon to guest star on Showtime's 'Ray Donovan'

March 13 (UPI) -- Oscar-winning actress Susan Sarandon has booked a season-long guest arc on Showtime's drama Ray Donovan.

Sarandon is famous for her roles in films such as Dead Man Walking, Bull Durham, Thelma & Louise and The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

"Sarandon will play Samantha Winslow, the strong, focused head of a motion-picture studio," the cable network said in a press release announcing her casting on Ray Donovan.

Starring Liev Schreiber, the show will return for its fifth season this summer. It follows the title character, "L.A.'s best professional fixer -- the man called in to make the city's celebrities, superstar athletes and business moguls' most complicated and combustible situations go away."

The series' ensemble also includes Jon Voight, Paula Malcomson, Eddie Marsan, Dash Mihok, Steven Bauer, Katherine Moennig, Pooch Hall, Kerris Dorsey and Devon Bagby.
