The 32-year-old actress and 36-year-old actor gushed about reprising Rapunzel and Flynn Rider in the Disney Channel show Tangled: The Series at the Los Angeles premiere of Tangled: Before Ever After.
"This is the story of them really, truly getting to know each other," Levi told Entertainment Tonight. "That kind of strange dating process in the magical world of Corona, it's very interesting. It allows us, Mandy and I, to continue to develop the growth of these characters."
"Everything is exciting about revisiting this world," Moore added. "I love all the new characters. I mean, we have Julie Bowen, who plays my mother, and a whole cast of incredible characters that will sort of be revealed as the series unfolds."
Tangled, an animated Disney feature film, opened in theaters in 2010. Tangled: Before Ever After, a Disney Channel movie, will premiere on the network Friday, with Tangled: The Series to follow March 24.
"This certainly was a dream come true to be able to be Flynn Rider, and keep being Flynn Rider," Levi said.
Tangled: The Series was renewed for a second season in February ahead of its Season 1 premiere. The show will feature the voices of Bowen as Queen Arianna, Clancy Brown as King Frederic and Eden Espinosa as Cassandra.
"Executive producer Chris Sonnenburg has crafted a terrific new series that embraces the rich characters, the brilliant storytelling and the memorable music of the original," Disney Channels Worldwide president Gary Marsh said at the time.
