Netflix renews 'One Day at a Time' for a second season

March 5 (UPI) -- Netflix says it has renewed its sitcom One Day at a Time for a second season.

"Familia! It's time to break out the cake  #OneDayAtATime #Season2," the show's official Twitter account said Saturday.

The comedy, which focuses on a tight-knit, Cuban-American family, co-stars Justina Machado, Todd Grinnell, Isabella Gomez, Marcel Ruiz and Stephen Tobolowsky.
