Feb. 28 (UPI) -- Gossip Girl alum Penn Badgley tied the knot with Domino Kirke this week.
The 30-year-old actor wed Kirke, a singer and sister of Girls star Jemima Kirke, in a courthouse wedding Monday in New York, according to E! News.
Badgley looked dapper in a navy suit and black tie, while Kirke wore a lace minidress and carried a bouquet of pale flowers. The couple's family and friends, including Jemima, Kirke's sister Lola and friend Darren Will, celebrated the marriage on social media.
"Congratulations ya [expletive]heads! @PennBadgley and @DominoKirke it's all downhill from here. In a good way!" Jemima tweeted.
"When someone gets married in a courthouse, it's really an open invitation to everyone but the beautiful bride to explore all that fashion has to offer. Here, I try a look simply called "Pants," Lola wrote on Instagram. "Congratulations @dominokirke. We love you."
"Congrats to a couple of beautiful people," Darren captioned a photo of the newlyweds.
When someone gets married in a courthouse, it's really an open invitation to everyone but the beautiful bride to explore all that fashion has to offer. Here, I try a look simply called "Pants," as Cassius goes for "That Dude from #incubus" and Jemima experiments with "Off to Therapy!" Congratulations @dominokirke. We love you.
Badgley, who previously dated his Gossip Girl co-star Blake Lively, was first linked to Kirke in 2014 after he was spotted arm-in-arm with the singer in New York. Sources told Us Weekly at the time that the pair share a love of music.
"They've been dating for a while," an insider said. "It is a very mature and free relationship. Domino is a great girl for him, being a musician. Their interests align."
Badgley is best known for playing Dan Humphrey on Gossip Girl, and founded the band MOTHXR in 2014. The group released their debut album, Centerfold, in February 2016, while Kirke last released The Guard in 2012.
