Feb. 2 (UPI) -- Kylie Jenner hit back at critics Thursday after posing for her wax figure.

The 19-year-old reality star responded on Snapchat to accusations that she darkened the skin tone for her forthcoming Madame Tussauds statue.

"I'm not trying to make my wax figure darker than I am, you [expletive] idiots," Jenner declared.

"They were mixing all those colors on a palette, not me. Stop reaching," she added. "I don't even have say in this, so leave it to the professionals, people!"

Jenner had shared several posts from her Madame Tussauds appointment Wednesday, including a video of herself holding a pose and a photo of several flesh-colored paints on a palette.

"Finding my skin tone," she captioned the picture.

Jenner's sister, Kendall Jenner, half-sister Kim Kardashian and brother-in-law Kanye West already have wax figures at Madame Tussauds. The star told her followers it will take six months to make her statue.

"You guys, we're here doing the first measurements. I'm getting my very own wax figure. It takes, like, six months," she said.

Jenner and her family came to fame on the E! series Keeping Up with the Kardashians, which will return for a 13th season in March. Kim Kardashian and model Chrissy Teigen launched their own book club this week.
