NEW YORK, Dec. 24 (UPI) -- Viola Davis' career will be the focus of the Jan. 5 edition of Inside the Actors Studio, Bravo announced.
Davis, 51, is a Tony- and Golden Globe Award-winning actress known for her work in the films The Help, Doubt, Eat, Pray, Love, Get on Up and Suicide Squad, as well as on the TV show How to Get Away with Murder.
"In anticipation of the revival of Rose Maxson in Fences, the stage and screen actress and producer discusses her greatest performances and achievements," a press release said. "From impoverished beginnings living on welfare to attending Juilliard and ultimately receiving her first Tony for her portrayal of Tonya in King Hedley II, Davis is one of the most celebrated actresses of her generation."
