"Arriving right on schedule in a snowstorm...the love of our lives is finally here. Meet Calvin Bradley Fichera: 11:52am, 8.3lbs, 20.5" long," she tweeted the same day.

"From this day forward my entire life is dedicated to always being there for our son. Dylan is doing amazing baby is doing amazing!!! Thank you all for your kind words!!! Cue parenting!" Fichera added on Instagram.

Dreyer, Fichera and Calvin later appeared via video on Monday's episode of Today. The meteorologist admitted childbirth was "a lot harder than [she] thought it was going to be," but couldn't help but gush about her son.

"The baby, oh my gosh. He is just so precious, so wonderful. He sleeps, he eats, and he doesn't really cry, so I think it's a good combination," she shared.

Dreyer married Fichera, an NBC News cameraman, in 2012, and announced her pregnancy on Today in June. She revealed in a blog post at the time that she and Fichera initially weren't sure if they wanted kids.

"We weren't in a rush," the star explained. "Then one day we both looked at each other and said, 'I want a baby!' As usual, we were on the same page and it all just seemed right."
