LOS ANGELES, Nov. 23 (UPI) -- Jimmy Kimmel and Bono are once again joining forces with (RED) for a special star-studded episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live! in honor of World AIDS Day.
"Thanks to the kindness of some of the biggest stars in the world, we have a great show for a great cause," Kimmel said. "World AIDS Day is Dec. 1 and I'm honored to be a part of this very special night to benefit (RED)."
On Dec. 1, Kimmel is launching (SHOPATHON)RED which will feature (RED) items and unique experiences with celebrities including Kristen Bell, DJ Khaled, Halsey, Herbie Hancock, Neil Patrick Harris, The Killers, Julia Roberts and Channing Tatum.
U2 is giving a lucky fan the chance to watch a dress rehearsal before one of the band's upcoming shows. Fans can also vie for the chance to have tea with Bono and Roberts, a jet ski ride with DJ Khaled, a trip to Magic Mike Live (and the show's afterparty) with Tatum in Vegas, dinner and a Broadway show with Harris and David Burtka, an appearance on Carpool Karaoke with James Corden, lunch with Liam Payne from One Direction, a chance to go backstage at Hamilton with Javier Munoz, a day with Richard Branson, and a trip to Korea with K-pop star G-Dragon.
A minimum donation of $10 to the (RED) charity through Jan. 18 is required to enter. A $100 donation gets 1,000 chances to win and a $50 donation will get 500 chances.
Bono has said that (RED)'s mission is to end AIDS by the year 2020.
"It's a battle now for funding," he said. "It's just a street battle, pitch battle, and we have to keep this stuff in the news or literally those people don't get the drugs. It's that simple."
