LOS ANGELES, Nov. 22 (UPI) -- NBC has revealed the first footage from their upcoming musical special Hairspray Live! featuring stars Ariana Grande, Jennifer Hudson and Derek Hough among others. The clip released Monday, features the star-studded ensemble cast that also includes newcomer Maddie Baillio as main heroine Tracy Turnblad and her parents portrayed by Martin Short and Harvey Fierstein as they perform the musical's final number, "You Can't Stop the Beat."

"Oh my god its a dream of a lifetime, I have to audition," Baillio says as she watches the popular dance show hosted by Hough's Corny Collins on tv.
"This is America baby! You gotta think big to be big!" Short says before Fierstein fires back, "Being big is not the promblem."
Previously, star Kristin Chenoweth who portrays the villainous Velma Von Tussle shared the first poster from the production on Instagram writing, "Mark those calendars for @nbchairspraylive December 7."
