NEW YORK, Nov. 8 (UPI) -- Stephen Colbert and Jon Stewart joined forces once again to sing about the importance of voting and to slam Donald Trump in honor of election day on The Late Show.

The musical number that aired Monday started with a little girl in the audience who explained to Colbert how she was too scared to vote.

The late night host then sang a number about how easy it is to vote before he was joined by Stewart who appeared in a red top hat and a sash with his name written across it.

As the former Comedy Central duo talked, Stewart said he was curious as to who was running for president. In a callback to a previous Late Show skit, Stewart sipped on a cup of water as Colbert explained that Donald Trump was indeed running.

"Are you serious? That angry tac-and-draft dodging little orange groundhog is running for president?" Stewart asked after he had spit out his water onto Colbert's face in surprise.

Its then that the little girl declares she will not vote by singing,"It's not my fault that the system gave us two unsavory folks /If they shared my values, I'd be first in line to vote/ But in civil oligarchy, we don't have a real choice/ How can i change a system, that wont' listen to my voice?"

Hamilton's Javier Munoz then enters the stage and tries to persuade the girl to get out vote by rapping that "history has its eyes on you."

To wrap up the musical number, Colbert and Stewart are joined by a choir at which point the former Daily Show host unleashes a few more jabs towards Trump.

"You know he acts tough but he's a wussy/ He'll probably fill the court with Gary Busey/ And then he'll grab your mother's.." he sings before he is interrupted by Colbert.
