NEW YORK, Nov. 6 (UPI) -- Comedian Dana Carvey returned to Saturday Night Live this weekend as one of his most famous characters -- Church Lady.

Current cast member Colin Jost introduced the SNL icon during the "Weekend Update" faux news and commentary segment of the sketch-comedy series.

Church Lady then proceeded to offer her take on the 2016 presidential campaign,

"It's a tough choice we have on Tuesday, isn't it Colin?" the notoriously judgmental Church Lady asked. "Do we vote for a bitter, female android from the '90s or a riverboat gambler with a big tummy and an orange head?"

Pressed to divulge if she has chosen a candidate yet, she replied, "Jesus is not on the ballot, Colin." She then predicted Jost would write in his favorite candidate, Satan, when he goes to vote.

Church Lady also insisted she remains hopeful for the country's future and treated the audience to her rendition of "What a Wonderful World," while unflattering photos of Donald Trump, Hillary Clinton, Vladimir Putin, Anthony Weiner and Rudy Giuliani flashed on the screen.

Carvey was an SNL cast member 1986-93 and has returned to guest host the program four times.
