LOS ANGELES, Sept. 23 (UPI) -- Amber Rose says she's lost weight on ABC reality competition Dancing with the Stars.
The 32-year-old television personality revealed on Thursday's episode of her Loveline with Amber Rose podcast that she's shed 8-10 pounds since being partnered with Maksim Chmerkovskiy in Season 23.
"I feel like I'm getting super toned," Rose told co-host Dr. Chris Donaghue. "I've lost probably, like, 10, maybe 8, pounds already."
"People don't understand how much work goes into it," she said. "You're with your partner four to five hours a day. Then you get home, you're on the phone with them, like, what you need to work on, what you need to do. Then you go to the ballroom."
Rose and Chmerkovskiy scored a 24 on Monday's episode with their Viennese waltz to the Game of Thrones theme song. Chmerkovskiy had nothing but praise for the Amber Rose Show host in a blog post for EW the week previous.
"She's amazing," the dancer wrote. "She is super nice, and she's a friend I hope to retain for as long as possible. She said herself just yesterday, 'We're gonna stick together.'"
"I'm excited about this competition because of the type of person Amber is," he added. "She's awesome, and I think her fans know that she's not exactly what you think. I can relate to that. I want more people to understand her. And she did great."
Dancing with the Stars airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET. Babyface, Vanilla Ice, Jana Kramer and Ryan Lochte are among the other celebrities who are competing in Season 23.
